2nd Annual Independence Film Fest. in Colorado~Sept.3-7, 2008

The second edition of the Independence Film Fest of Colorado (IFFC) will take place Sept. 3 - 7, 2008 with diverse and
eclectic programming. It is unique among all other film festivals in that it is the 'highest film festival in the world'. The IFFC
incorporates and showcases the region's rich cultural history and historic venues - creating a synergy between cinema,
culture, and community.

One of the most noteworthy events to take place will be a major tribute, "Elvis Presley: An American Film Icon", which will
salute Elvis' body of work as an actor with screenings, surprise guests and a posthumous award. With an acting career
spanning 13 years and 31 films, this first-ever tribute to Elvis for the impact he had on the motion picture industry and movie
audiences worldwide is expected to draw considerable out of town attendance and press. The IFFC expects to have Priscilla
Presley in attendance along with Ann-Margret, Nancy Sinatra, William Schallert, and other celebrities who performed on
screen with Elvis, as well as a taped speech from Lisa Marie Presley (she's having a baby this fall).

For those who have been asking me, I am not recording at the moment as there isn't much room for breathing and singing
right now, most of that area has been taken up and I cant really sing a line without running out of air halfway though. Writing
and recording will resume when the little occupants in there have decided to join the outside worldSmiler

2007 SCHEDULE NEWS

Lisa and her family will be in Memphis for the 30th anniversary of her dad's passing.

Lisa has no tour scheduled at this time.
She is working on her 3rd album.
Lisa is no longer w/Capitol Records.

Lisa's Statement below:

With the recent merger of Capitol and Virgin Records, one artist that won't be joining the new roster is Lisa Marie Presley.
''Capitol just folded, but I got out right before,'' she told us at the Clive Davis party, where she came as Pink's date. ''I'm free
and it's a nice feeling.'' Label or not, Presley is preparing to start on her third album next month and has been writing with
husband Michael Lockwood, who produced her last effort, 2005's Now What? But there's no timetable yet, she says. ''I'm
going to take my time.''
